CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan Held One On One Important Meetings With Prime Minister Of Sri Lanka H.E Mahinda Rajapaksa:

CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, who is on an official visit to Brotherly Country Sri Lanka to attend the 70th Anniversary of Sri Lankan Air Force as Guest of Honor, held important meetings with senior Sri Lankan Civilian and Military Leadership during the official visit, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Media Wing Head DGPR PAF said in an official statement.

Meeting With Prime Minister of Sri Lanka H.E Mahinda Rajapaksa:

According to the details released by the DGPR PAF, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan held one on one important meetings with Top Sri Lankan Civilian and Military Leadership, including the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka H.E Mahinda Rajapaksa.

During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss the recent regional security situation and matters related to mutual interest.

“The Sri Lankan PM acknowledged PAKISTAN’s unwavering support to Sri Lanka in any hour of need.  He also reiterated to further enhance existing friendly relations between both the countries,” DGPR PAF said.

The Sri Lankan Prime Minister acknowledges the support brotherly Country PAKISTAN has provided to Sri Lanka in any time of need. During the meeting, both the dignitaries agreed on further enhancing the Bilateral Defense Ties and Military relationship between both the Brotherly Countries.

On the occasion, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka H.E Mahinda Rajapaksa for the traditional Sri Lankan hospitality.

“The Air Chief expressed his gratitude to PM Rajapaksa for traditional Sri Lankan hospitality. He added that the people of PAKISTAN & Sri Lanka had deep rooted historic & cultural linkages & both nations always stood together in the times of crises as well as national festivities,” DGPR PAF added.

CAS Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan said the People of PAKISTAN & Sri Lanka had deep rooted historic cultural and historic linkages and both the nations always stood with each other in the time of crisis.

The Air Chief also conveyed Pakistan’s desire and resolve to further enhance the existing civil & miltary cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier on his arrival at Columbo, the Air Chief was received by Air Mshl Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana, Commander Sri Lanka Air Force.

PAKISTAN AIR CHIEF Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan conveyed the firm desire of PAKISTAN to further enhance the existing Bilateral military and civil cooperation between the Two Brotherly Countries.

Earlier on the his arrival at the Sri Lankan Capital Colombo, the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Karagoda Pathirana.
