PAF Outlines Plan For “Next-Generation Fighter Aircraft” And “Cognitive Electronic Warfare”:
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has outlined the plans for its 5th Generation Stealth Fighter Jet, which is under development under the Project AZM. Earlier, On September 7th 2020, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has presented a number of different innovation to enhance the capacity and capability of the Karma Aviation City Initiative.
The development of Kamra City initiative is a part of efforts by PAKISTAN AIR FORCE boost the domestic aerospace manufacturing and development of state of the art fighter Jet, including the stealth one.
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has started the Project AZM back in 2017 to domestically build PAKISTAN’s Next Generation Fighter Aircraft (NGFA).
Under the same Project AZM, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE would also build Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and next generation smart bombs, guided bombs and munitions.
On September 7th, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has also shown the videos of the progress of these ongoing projects being developed in PAKISTAN Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Kamra.
Top Defense Analysts are suggesting that PAKISTAN AIR FORCE seeks to develop a state of the art Stealth Aircraft with such low radar cross-section (RCS) and low observable (LO) airframes.
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Reveals Central of Artificial Intelligence and Computing (CENTAIC):
PAKISTAN AIR FORCE also reveals the its newly constructed Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Computing (CENTRIC) equipped with the cutting edge technology and apparatus. With the help of the CENTAIC, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is aggressively working on the Cognitive Electronic Warfare or Cognitive EW.
The Centre of Artificial Intelligence and Computing (CENTAIC) is designed to analyze and manage large amount of data flux in fraction of seconds.
This state of the art Artificial Intelligence Centre can easily asses, analyze and calculate vast amount of data about any potential adversary.
In today’s world, the Electronic Warfare systems can easily collect the vast amount of data about enemy’s radar deployment, frequency use and other factors.
Being said that, the total analysis function of using this data to find actionable yielded results is totally dependent on human operators.
