PAKISTAN AIR FORCE To Get 36 Latest F-16 Block 50-52 Jets Wit The Upgradation Of Older F-16s:

More sleepless and restless nights are coming for the coward indian security forces as PAKISTAN AIR FORCE all set to get 36 Latest F-16C/D Block 50/52 Fighter Jets from the United States along with the upgradation of its old F-16 Fleet.

PAF TO GET 36 ADDITIONAL F-16 BLOCK 52 JETS FROM US

According to the details issued by the US Department of Defense, US based Defense Contractor Booz Allen Hamilton has won a $9.1 Million fixed-price contract to provide the technical team support services for the PAKISTAN F-16 Fighter Program,

“Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $9,111,111 predominantly firm-fixed-price undefinitized contract to provide technical security team support services in support of the Pakistan F-16 program.” stated by the official website for the US Department of Defense.

According to the details issued by the US DOD, the US Defense Contractor Booz Allen Hamilton will complete all the upgradation work on PAKISTAN F-16’s in PAKISTAN and the deadline for the upgradation of PAKISTAN F-16 programs is set at 18 June, 2020.

“This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Foreign military sales funds of $4,464,444 are being obligated at the time of the award”, listed by the US DOD for the contract list of 16 December,  2019.

36 New F-16C/D Block 50/52s:

It is worth mentioning that PAKISTAN had initially sealed a Defense Contract worth $5.1 Billion USD with the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) back in 2006. However, the deal in question didn’t proceed well due to the 2005 devastating earthquake.

After the gap of almost 13 Years, the Defense Deal is matured again and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is all set to get 36 Numbers of Latest F-16C/D Block 50/52 Fighter Jets from US in the coming months, which will be equipped with the revolutionary and cutting-edge APG-68(V) 9 Radars.

Apart from new and modern APG-68(V) 9 Radars, PAKISTAN F-16 would also be equipped with the state of the art weaponry, avionics, electronic suites, new apparatus, etc.

  2. 36 Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems (JHMCS)

  5. 36 Link-16 Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminals

  7. 1 Unit Level Trainer
  8. 7 spare F100-PW-229 EEP engines
  9. 7 spare APG-68(V)9 radar sets
  10. 36 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suites: ALQ-211 AIDEW without Digital Radio Frequency Memory (picked); or AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Counter Measures pod without DRFM; or AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Counter Measures pod without DRFM; or AN/ALQ-187 Advanced Self-Protection Integrated Suites without DRFM; or AN/ALQ-178 Self-Protection Electronic Warfare Suites without DRFM.

According to the details issued by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA, PAKISTAN also interested to purchase the Mid-Life Update Modification Kits for its older version of F-16 A/B Fighter Aircraft.

These modernization and upgradation will help PAKISTAN AIR FORCE to operate its ageing F-16A/B Fleet safely and it will also help to enhance the conventional Deterrence Capability of PAKISTAN against it coward arch rival india.
