Significance of PL-15 Radar Guided Very Long Range Air To Air Missile (VLRAAM):
As far as the Armament options of the JF-17 Thunder Block-III aircraft is concerned; the Aircraft will be fitted with the latest Armament, Electronic Warfare and Anti-Electronic Warfare Suites. Moreover, the JF-17 Thunder Block-III would also be equipped with the CHINESE most feared and lethal PL-15 very long range Air to Air Missile (VLRAAM).
The potency of the PL-15 VLRAAM Missile is so lethal that the Head of US ASFC once said, “Outmatching the Chinese PL-15 air-to-air missile in particular is an “exceedingly high priority”.
