PAKISTAN Successfully Test Fires Nuclear Capable Air Launched Cruise Missile RA’AD-II:
In a serious and recent development, PAKISTAN Successfully Test Fires the Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in an official statement.
The Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II is an advanced version of RA’AD-I Air Launched Cruise Missile with an extended range of 600 Kilometers in total. The Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II can destroy targets both Sea-Based and Land-Based Targets up to the range of 600 Kilometers with pinpoint Accuracy.
The Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II is equipped with the state of the art navigation and guidance systems to ensure effective engagement of Land-based and sea-based targets with high-precision and accuracy.
According to the video footage released by PAKISTAN MILITARY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISRP), the RA’AD-II Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) was launched from the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE Mirage-III ROSE fighter Aircraft, before destroying the pre-designated target at 600 Kilometers range.
The Successful Missile Test of Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II was witnessed by the Director General Strategic Plans Division (DG SPD), Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, Chairman National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), Senior Officers from Various Strategic Organization, Strategic Plans Division and Strategic Plans Division (SPD).

The Director General Strategic Plans Division (DG SPD), Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj termed the Successfully test firing of Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II “A major step towards complementing PAKISTAN’s deterrence capability”.
The CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEF OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza HI(M) and all the Services Chiefs of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES congratulated the Scientists and Engineers for the Successful conduct of the Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II.
According to the US-based Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance, the Development of Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II could be seen as an attempt of PAKISTAN to counter indian brahmos cruise missile.
The Nuclear capable Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) RA’AD-II can easily be integrated and attached to the PAF Mirage Aircraft, JF-17 Thunder or F-16 Viper Aircraft of the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF).
