PAKISTAN’s First Ever Cyber Security Academy Inaugurated At PAF Complex Islamabad:

More Blessings for the Best and Great 220 Million PAKISTANI NATION, as PAKISTAN’s first Cyber Security Academy at the opening ceremony of International Conference on Cyber Warfare & Security 2021 (ICCS) at PAF Complex, Islamabad on Thursday, 23 November, 2021, DGPR AIR FORCE said in an official statement.

CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also graced the Ceremony. Apart from PAK AIR CHIEF, the event was also attended by the Director General C4I Air Vice Marshal Ghumman and Vice Chancellor Air University, Air Marshal (Retd) Javaid Ahmed, along with senior civil, military and foreign dignitaries.

The vision of the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF evolving around the Cyber Security Domain has defined the role of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in contributing the Cyber Security Objectives under the National Cyber Security Policy 2021.

The PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has worked tirelessly with different academicians in order to strengthen the R&D efforts and HR talent in the domain of Cyber Security.

With the help of sharp minds and robust R&D Setups, the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE would transform the Academy into an effective and highly responsive Cyber Force of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

While speaking at the occasion, the Director General C4I, Air Vice Marshal Abbas Ghumman highlighted the significance of PAF’s contributions in the establishment of Cyber Security Industry Exhibition and the successful conduct of the International Conference on Cyber Warfare & Security 2021 (ICCWS).

DG C4I Air Vice Marshal Abbas Ghumman also highlighted the plan of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE or establishing the indigenous Cyber Command Authority supported by the Cyber Center of Excellence and Cyber Technology Park under the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP).

Vice Chancellor, Air University Air Marshal (Retd) Javaid Ahmed highlighted that the prime objective of the Cyber Security Academy was to produce highly trained Cyber Security Experts for the Defense Institutions, Government, industry and public and private sector organizations to address the emerging Cyber Security threats posed to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

After the inauguration of PAKISTAN’s First Cyber Security Academy, CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar briefed the President regarding the various initiatives being taken by the PAKISTAN AIR FORCE in collaboration with the prominent local and foreign technology experts.
