PAKISTAN’s Pride JF-17 Thunder Aircraft Makes Maiden Participation In Virtual Royal Air Tattoo Show 2020:
Moment of Pride for the Great and Best 220 Million PAKISTANI Nation, PAKISTAN’s Pride JF-17 Thunder Aircraft makes maiden participation in the virtual Royal Air Tattoo Show 2020 at the Royal Air Force base Fairford, UK.
This is the first ever participation of JF-17 Thunder Multi-role combat aircraft in the Royal Air Tattoo Show 2020.
According to the Spokesman of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF), the Black Panthers No. 16 Multirole Squadron of JF-17 Thunder participated in the virtual Tattoo Air Show. Furthermore, the C-130 Hercules from the No.21 Squadron also participated in the mega virtual air tattoo show.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, UK air force asked the air forces from all over the world to send short video footage of the participating aircraft along with the crew.
After fulfilling the requirements of Royal Air Show 2020, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE sent short video clips of the each participating JF-17 Thunder Jet along with a special message from the crew.
The messages from PAKISTAN AIR FORCE were telecast on the official social media handlers of Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) and were highly appreciated by the users across the globe.

The recent virtual participation of the JF-17 Thunder will significantly help to showcase the soft image of the PAKISTAN across the globe.
All the fans of the Royal International Air Tattoo enjoyed a weekend by enjoying virtual flying of aircraft and never seen before aerial footages of modern aircraft, including JF-17 Thunder.
Each year, the Royal International Air Tattoo Show (RIAT) features state of the art aircraft from the different handpicked and leading air forces of the world.
Apart from Air Forces, aerospace technology firms and aircraft manufacturers also participated in the mega air show.
JF-17 Block 3 4.5++ Generation Aircraft:
The Block-3 of JF-17 Thunder made is maiden flight back in December 2019 in Chengdu, CHINA.
The Block-III aircraft of JF-17 Thunder is a 4.5++ Generation aircraft and it’s a testimony of evergreen cordial and brotherly relations between PAKISTAN and CHINA.
Apart from other upgradation, the JF-17 Thunder also features the state of the art KLJ-7A Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar. PAKISTAN AIR FORCE has also opted the new variant of UEC-Klimov RD-93MA Engine for the new block of JF-17 Thunder.
With the addition of the new engine, the thrust of JF-17 Thunder would increase to 9300kgf from initially 8300kgf.
The new UEC-Klimov RD-93MA Engine will help the JF-17 Thunder to achieve the speed of Mach 2 or almost 2,470 kmph.
The newest block of JF-17 Thunder would be equipped with the state of the art Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) and Infrared Search and Tracking System (IRST).
The JF-17 Thunder Block-III would be armed with the feared CHINESE PL-15 Air to Air Missile (AAM), apart from other munitions. The PL-15 is the same missile from which the US Air Force is also afraid of.
The aircraft would also feature the single panel multifunctional panel display and a full glass cockpit display.
Reportedly, PAKISTAN AIR FORCE is in talks with the friendly country South Africa for the supply of Denel A-Darter Air to Air Missiles that would also be integrated with the JF-17 Block-III.
