Ambassadors Of EU Countries Held Important Meeting With COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
Ambassadors of European Union Countries, including Italy, Netherlands, Germany and france held One on One important meeting with CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Thursday, August 12, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, Ambassadors of Italy, Netherlands, Germany and france held important meets with PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi.
“His Excellency Mr. Bernhard Stephan Schlagheck – Ambassador of Germany, Mr. Andreas Ferrarese – Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Willem Wouter Plomp – Ambassador of Netherlands & mr. yves manville, Acting ambassador of france called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) at GHQ, today,” DG ISPR said in an official statement.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the latest progress of PAKISTAN-Brokered Afghan Peace Process and prospects to further increase the Bilateral Cooperation between PAKISTAN and European Union (EU).
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss matters pertaining to the recent regional security situation, professional interest and mutual interests.
“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation including latest situation in Afghanistan and enhanced bilateral cooperation with the European Union (EU) were discussed,” DG ISPR added.
During the meeting, PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear on European Union Envoys that Peace in Afghanistan means Peace in PAKISTAN.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that there are no favorites in the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan. COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that PAKISTAN’s sole desire is to achieve stability and peace in Afghanistan.
PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Bajwa added that PAKISTAN highly values its relations with the European Union and we look forward to further enhance the mutually beneficial multi-faceted relations between PAKISTAN and the European Union.
The visiting dignitaries highly lauded and appreciated the due Positive role played by PAKISTAN for regional security and stability. All the EU envoys pledged to play their part to further strengthen the relations between PAKISTAN and European Union.
It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also met with the TURKISH Defense Minister General (r) Mr. Hulusi Akar.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss various matters of regional security and Afghan Peace Process.
