CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, who is on an official visit to Russia to witness the Peace Mission 2021 Exercise, held One on One important meeting with the Top Russian and CHINESE Military Leadership, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the Inter-Services Public Relations, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza held high-profile important meetings with Chief of Joint Staff of the PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY (PLA) General Li Zuocheng and Russian Chief of General Staff General Valery V. Gerasimov.
CJCSC General Nadeem Raza departs on a two-day official visit to Russia to attend the Defense and Security Cooperation Conference at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization or SCO forum.

CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza also informed both the CHINESE and Russian counterparts that PAKISTAN is focusing on increasing the bilateral defense cooperation with CHINA and Russia.
PAKISTAN’s Top General also informed both the Countries, CHINA and Russia, that Islamabad believes in a long-term strategic relationship with Beijing and Moscow in different domains, including Defense and Security.
On the occasion, the Russian Chief of General Staff General Valery V. Gerasimov highly lauded the commitment, professionalism and dedication of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.

CJCSC General Nadeem Raza would attend the closing ceremony of International Military Games in Moscow. PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES have been regularly participating in the International Military Games for the past three years.
Earlier, a contingent of TRI-ARMED SERVICES of PAKISTAN participated in the opening ceremony of the Peace Mission 2021 exercise being held in Donguz Training Area in Russian Orenburg region.
The exercise focuses on the domain of counter-terrorism and anti-terrorist operations. It is expected that the recent high-profile visit of CJCSC General Nadeem Raza will significantly help to further strengthen the Defense and Military relations between both the countries, PAKISTAN and Russia.
