CJCSC General Nadeem Raza Vows Shaheen-IX Exercise To Strengthen Cooperation Between Two Great Nations of PAKISTAN And CHINA:
The CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEF OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza witnessed the PAKISTAN CHINA Joint Air Drills Shaheen-IX at the Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEF OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza said that the recent Ninth Edition of the PAKISTAN-CHINA Shaheen-IX Joint Air Exercise would significantly help to further promote and strengthen the Cooperation and Friendship between the ARMED FORCES of both the GREAT NATIONS of PAKISTAN and CHINA.
During the occasion, CJCSC General Nadeem Raza highly appreciated the morale, resolve and commitment of the participants and He lauded the efforts of both PAKISTAN AIR FORCE (PAF) and PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY AIR FORCE (PLAAF) to conduct Shaheen-IX Joint Air Drills in a befitting manner.
“CJCSC also said that the exercise would further strengthen and promote the friendship and cooperation between the two GREAT NATIONS as well as ARMED FORCES of PAKISTAN and CHINA,” DG ISPR Quoted CJCSC General Nadeem Raza.
Earlier, upon arrival at the Operational Air Base of PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, CHAIRMAN JOINT CHIEF OF STAFF COMMITTEE (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza was warmly Greeted, Welcomed and Received by the CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.
According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the basic purpose of the PAKISTAN CHINA Joint Shaheen-IX Air Exercise will further enhance the interoperability of both the Brotherly AIR FORCES and it will also offer Golden Opportunities to both ARMED FORCES to share their battle-gained experience with each other.
It is pertinent to mention that the Opening Ceremony of PAK-CHINA Shaheen-IX Joint Air Exercise was witnessed by the Assistant CHIEF OF STAFF, PLAAF Major General Sun Hong and Deputy CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Waqas Ahmed Sulehri.
During the occasion, Assistant CHIEF OF STAFF, PLAAF Major General Sun Hong said, “The joint exercise will improve the actual level of combat training and strengthen practical cooperation between the two air forces”.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the Ninth Consecutive Edition of the PAKISTAN-CHINA Shaheen-IX Joint Air Drills. This exercise have strategic importance and starts back in 2011 in PAKISTAN. Since then, the Shaheen (Eagle) Exercise held alternatively in both the Brotherly Countries of PAKISTAN and CHINA.
