COAS General Bajwa And Russian Presidential Envoy To Afghanistan Held One On One Important Meeting In GHQ Rawalpindi:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Russian Presidential Envoy to Afghanistan H.E, Mr. Zamir Kabulov discuss Afghan Peace Process during one on one important meeting in Generals Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on February, 19th, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DGISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter account.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DGISPR, both the dignitaries discussed the recent developments of Afghan Peace Process, regional security situation and matters of mutual security during the one on one important and high-profile meeting.
“During the meeting matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation particularly developments in Afghan Peace Process were discussed,” DGISPR said.
During the meeting, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Peace in both the countries is in the greater interest of the region.
The visiting dignitary Russian Presidential Envoy to Afghanistan H.E, Mr. Zamir Kabulov highly commended and appreciated the positive role being played by PAKISTAN to facilitate the Afghan Peace Process.
“The visiting dignitary appreciated the positive role being played by PAKISTAN for Afghan Peace Process and expressed that, PAK-RUSSIA relations will continue to prosper manifolds. Both sides reiterated the commitment to enhance bilateral relationship,” DGISPR added.
Russian Presidential Envoy to Afghanistan H.E, Mr. Zamir Kabulov expressed the firm resolve that the relations between the Iron Brother Countries, PAKISTAN-RUSSIA, would continue to prosper manifolds in the days to come.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries reiterated the firm resolve and commitment to enhance the bilateral relationship in different domains, including the domain of defense.
Earlier in the day, FO Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez had informed the arrival of Zamir Kabulov to Islamabad on an important official visit.
Russia is an important ally and a Defense Partner of PAKISTAN and both countries shares mutual understanding on various International Issues, including Defense and Ongoing Afghan Peace Process.
The recent visit of Russian Presidential Envoy to Afghanistan will significantly help to bolster the relationship between the two Iron Brother Countries.
