COAS General Bajwa Visits Logistic Installation At Rawalpindi:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Logistic Installations / Workshop in Rawalpindi on Monday, 1st March, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official Twitter Handler.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head ISPR, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the logistic Installations at Rawalpindi and visited the various infrastructures and facilities of the workshop engaged in manufacturing wide range of specialized equipment for the PAKISTAN ARMY.
“COAS visited various facilities and infrastructures of the workshop handling vast range of specialized transport items for ARMY,” DG ISPR said.
During the visit, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa was thoroughly briefed about the facilities being developed, handling of central stores and upgradation mechanism of vehicles.
“He was briefed regarding facilities being developed, upgradation mechanism of vehicles and handling of central stores,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar added.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded, appreciated and commended the commitment, performance, professionalism and resolve of the installation / workshop engaged in the provision of state of the art and world-class services and maintenance facilities as per the highest International manufacturing and engineering standards.
“COAS appreciated performance and commitment of the workshop in provision of top class maintenance facilities & services as per standard engineering practices in line with modern / latest standards,” DG ISPR added.
Earlier on the arrival at the Logistic Installation / Workshop at Rawalpindi, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was warmly welcomed, received and welcomed by the Chief of Logistic Staff (CLS) Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi.
It is pertinent to mention that the Logistic Installation / Workshop is one of the prime logistic facility of PAKISTAN ARMY engaged in providing critical services, products and resources to cater the needs of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES.
