COAS General Bajwa Witnesses Corps Level Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal’ Near Kotli, AZAD KASHMIR:

PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa witnesses the Corps Level Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal in a field training area near Kotli, AZAD KASHMIR on June 2, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head ISPR, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the field training area near Kotli, AZAD KAHSMIR and witnessed the conduct modalities of Corps Level Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal.

The main of the Corps Level Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal is to enhance and strengthen the Operational Preparedness and Combat Readiness of Troop Formations by encompassing offensive and defensive tasks during various modalities within an operational cycle.

PAKISTAN ARMY Troops and Formations that are participating in the Corps Level Field Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal will rehearse several offensive and defense tactics and maneuvers in the difficult hard to reach mountainous terrains.

“General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) visited field training area near Kotli today. COAS was briefed about conduct modalities of a Corps level exercise ‘Taskheer-e-Jabal’. The exercise is aimed at enhancing operational preparedness of formations, encompassing defensive and offensive tasks during various contingencies within an operational cycle. The troops and units participating in exercise will rehearse various defensive and offensive manoeuvres in the mountainous terrain,” DG ISPR said.

While interacting with the Officers and Men engaged in the PAKISTAN ARMY Corps Level Exercise Taskheer-e-Jabal, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and appreciated the professionalism of troops participating in the exercise.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed deep satisfaction over the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the formations of PAKISTAN ARMY.

“Appreciating dedication and professionalism of participating troops, COAS expressed satisfaction over combat readiness of the formation. Rigorous training and continued practice of operational drills are imperative for effective response to wide ranging threats, COAS emphasized,” DG ISPR added.
