COAS Vows Peace in Afghanistan Mean Peace In PAKISTAN During Meeting With Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Karim Khalili:

Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan & former Chairman Afghan High Peace Council Muhammad Karim Khalili called on CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarter (GHQ), Rawalpindi on Tuesday, January 12, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Director General Public Relations (DGISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the Official Microblogging website.

According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Mr Mohammad Karim Khalili, Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan & former Chairman Afghan High Peace Council called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) at GHQ, today.

On the occasion, COMMANDER OF THE GROUND FORCES OF ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that “Peace in Afghanistan means Peace in PAKISTAN.”

During the meeting, different matters related to mutual interest, recent regional security situation and current developments in the ongoing Afghan Peace process were discussed.

PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that a prosperous and stable Afghanistan at peace is in the National Interest of PAKISTAN.

During the occasion, the visiting Dignitary Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan & former Chairman Afghan High Peace Council Muhammad Karim Khalili highly lauded and appreciated the positive role played by PAKISTAN for the ongoing Afghan Peace process with warring and winning party of Afghan Taliban or TTA.

Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan & former Chairman Afghan High Peace Council Muhammad Karim Khalili also appreciated the vision of CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on the future of PAKISTAN-Afghan relations.
