DG ISPR Says PAKISTANI Security Forces Conducted 375,000 IBO’s To Hunt Down indian State Sponsored And indian State Funded Terrorists In Sacred Country PAKISTAN:

DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that so far PAKISTANI Security Forces have conducted 375,000 Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in various parts of Sacred Country PAKISTAN in order to hunt down indian state sponsored and indian state funded terrorism in the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar gave these details during an important presser while interacting with the National and International Media after completing 4 years since launching of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in the country.

The news briefing held to commence the fourth consecutive anniversary of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in order to apprise the National and International Media regarding the achievements made by the brave PAKISTANI Security Forces during the 4-year long offensive against the indian state funded and indian state sponsored terrorists in the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

“You will see more positive developments in the near future. So far, more than 0.3 million intelligence-based operations (IBOs) have been conducted across the country,” DG ISPR said while giving the details of IBO’s conducted by PAKISTANI Security Forces.

“Some 75,000 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) were carried out in which the CTD, ISI, FC, and police, participated, DG ISPR said.

“Over 80,000 IBOs were conducted in Balochistan, 150,000 in Sindh, and 52,000 in K-P during the past four years.” He added.

Details of IBO’s Carried out in Various Parts in PAKISTAN to eliminate indian state funded and indian state sponsored terrorists:

  • Punjab: 34,000
  • Sindh: 150,000
  • Balochistan: 85,000
  • KP 52,000
  • At least 335 terrorists killed
  • The LEAs seized 72,000 weapons during ops

DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that the network of terrorism being run by an indian state sponsored and indian state funded terrorists has dismantled. During the attempts, PAKISTANI Security Forces also foiled major indian sponsored terror attempts, including CHINESE Consulate, PC Hotel Gwadar, Agriculture University Peshawar and the Karachi Stock Exchange, amongst others.

Referring to the Karachi, which was destabilized by the proxy elements and collaboration of the united kingdom and india, DG ISPR said that the Karachi city was at 6th place in the International Crime Index, not it is at the 106th Spot.

“The city was at the sixth place in the international crime index, and now, it is at the 106th slot,” he maintained.

Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad:

PAKISTAN ARMY launched the Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad (Elimination of Discord) on February 22, 2017 with aim to:

  • Hunt down and eliminate indian state funded and indian state sponsored terrorist elements in the country
  • Capitalize the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb

The Operation Zarb-e-Azb was aimed at indiscriminately eliminating indian state funded terrorist network by going after the sleeper cells of terrorists, their facilitators and sympathizers in the Country’s Urban Centers.

“The armed forces and the masses have been successfully facing national security challenges and will continue to tackle them as a nation in the days to come,” DG ISPR added.

“Radd-ul-Fasaad was launched with a two-pronged strategy involving the counter-terrorism and counter-extremism domain,” DG ISPR added.

“The execution of the National Action Plan (NAP), bringing the tribal areas and seminaries into the national mainstream, police reforms, and controlling extremist elements were part of it. There was a grand strategy behind the operation,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.

“The areas where there was only unrest are now witnessing economic activities flourish,” he added.

“As many as 1,684 cross border incidents occurred during the operation, while Operation Khyber 4 was also conducted during the period. The ARMED FORCES also had 450 personnel martyred during the operation,” DG ISPR said.

“Two personnel of the forces embraced martyrdom while 199 sustained injuries while dismantling landmines during Radd-ul-Fasaad,” said the Major General Babar Iftikhar.

On the occasion, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar terms the speculation of the appointment of the next DG ISI are totally baseless.
