German State Minister Lauds PAKISTAN ARMY’s Role For Ensuring Regional Peace and Stability:

The Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office Germany Niels Annen called on PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa at PAKISTAN ARMY’s General Headquarters, Rawalpindi on Monday 13th January, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said in a statement.

During the meeting, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa and the visiting Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office Germany Niels Annen discussed different issues related to regional, security, mutual interest came into discussion. During the meeting, both dignitaries agreed on further enhancing the PAKISTAN German Bilateral Naval Cooperation in a wide range of domains.

The visiting Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office Germany Niels Annen highly appreciated and lauds the role of PAKISTAN ARMY for ensuring regional peace, security and stability. Both the dignitaries agreed on further enhancing and expanding the cooperation in various fields, including Defense.

“Niels Annen, minister of state of the Federal Foreign Office Germany, called on General Qamar Javed Bajw at [the] GHQ, today,” DG ISPR Said in a statement.

Earlier, CHINESE Ambassador to PAKISTAN Mr. Yao Jing and Iranian Ambassador Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini called on PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF separately at General Headquarters Islamabad. During the meeting, issues related prevailing regional security situation after the assassination of Iranian commander by US came into discussion.
