Heavy Industries Taxila Installs Robotic Welding Machine To Weld Hull Of Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank:

PAKISTAN’s State owned Heavy Industries Taxila has installed the Robotic Welding Machine to weld the Hull of PAKISTAN’s indigenously manufactured Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank’s in the country.

With the installation of the Robotic Welding Machines, the overall capacity of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) has increased manifolds. As, Engineers can easily weld the sophisticated the Hull of the PAKISTAN’s Next Generation Al-Khalid 1 Main Battle Tank (MBT).

It is pertinent to mention that Al-Khalid-1 is a state of the art Main Battle Tank (MBT) equipped with the cutting-edge technologies and weaponry and it is indigenously manufactured by the PAKISTAN’s state owned Heavy Industries Taxila or HIT.

PAKISTAN officially inducted the first batch of Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank in its arsenal in a prestigious ceremony held on 28 July, 2020. PAK ARMY Media Wing ISPR showed the video in which at least 20 Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tanks were lined up in the shed.

The video released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) showed some of the capabilities of the Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank, including the Bi-Axis Gun Stabilization of the control system, Use of Smoke Screen, Anti-Tank Warfare Suite, among others.

The Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank is also equipped with the other robust protection features as the 125 mm Main Smoothbore Gun, Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA), Welded steel armor with Composite Layer, Solid State Auto-Loader (SSL), improved radiation reactor, improved muzzle reference system and Ukraine-made 1200 Horsepower 6TD-2 Diesel Engine

ISPR released a statement that Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) has been handed over the formations of PAKISTAN ARM, which has a decisive and critical during the war.

The Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) is a joint venture between PAKISTAN, CHINA and Ukraine. Top Defense Analysts are predicting that the main reason to induct the Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) is to replace the ageing fleet of approximately T80UD and Type 85 Main Battle Tanks.

The newly inducted Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank (MBT) can even compete with the indian army fleet of T-90S Main Battle Tank during a potential Kinetic war between PAKISTAN and its coward arch rival india in the coming future.

The recent installation of the Robotic Welding machine will significantly boost the production line of PAKISTAN’s Next Generation Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank in an efficient manner. Moreover, this facility will also help PAKISTAN to go for more robust Joint Defense Ventures with the friendly countries.
