Japanese Ambassador To PAKISTAN Held One On One Important Meeting With COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
Japanese Ambassador to PAKISTAN Mr. Wada Mitsuhira held One on One important meeting with PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi on Thursday, December 16, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, Japanese Ambassador to PAKISTAN visits General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi and held an important meeting with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters related to the professional, mutual interest and the situation of Afghanistan after the humiliating defeat and hasty withdrawal of US and allied forces from the country.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa categorically made it clear that PAKISTAN greatly values the role of Japan in global and regional affairs and we look forward to further enhance the Bilateral relationship between the two countries.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also stressed upon the urgency for swiftly reviving the humanitarian assistance and aid to Afghanistan in order to avert the looming humanitarian crisis in the country.
“COAS stressed upon the urgency for swiftly devising an institutionalized mechanism for channeling humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in order to avert a looming humanitarian catastrophe,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Bajwa.
During the meeting, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highlighted the significance of several peace and reconciliation efforts in Afghanistan.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also emphasized that the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute is imperative for the eternal peace and stability in the South Asia.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN, as a responsible and powerful regional country, wants to have cordial tires with all its neighbors in pursuit of regional peace and prosperity.
On the occasion, the visiting dignitary highly appreciate the role of PAKISTAN in effectively handling the Afghan situation and the special and concrete efforts of PAKISTAN to maintain peace and stability in the region and the world.
“The visiting dignitary appreciated PAKISTAN’s role in Afghan situation, special efforts for regional stability and pledged to play his part for further improvement in diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels,” DG ISPR added.
The Japanese Ambassador to PAKISTAN Mr. Wada Mitsuihira also pledged to play his due role to further improve the diplomatic relations between PAKISTAN and Japan at all levels.
