PAKISTAN ARMY Formally Induct VT4 Main Battle Tank In Its Arsenal:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Firing Ranges in Jhelum, where the formal induction ceremony of PAKISTAN’s Next Generation VT4 Main Battle Tank took place, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement via the official Twitter Handler.
According to the details released by the ISPR, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Firing Ranges in Jhelum to witness the demonstration of newly acquired VT4 Main Battle Tank.
The newly inducted VT4 MBT is basically a CHINESE Origin 3rd Generation Main Battle Tank equipped with the latest armory, weapons and other sophisticated systems.
“VT-4 is compatible with any modern tank in the world integrating advanced armor protection, maneuverability, fire power capabilities and state of the art technology. Interacting with the officers and men, COAS expressed satisfaction over demonstrated performance,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Bajwa.
The 3rd Generation VT-4 Main Battle Tank is a state of the art Tank fully packed with latest reactive armor, weaponry, sensors and other systems.
While interacting with the officers and speaking on the occasion, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed full satisfaction over the performance of the VT4 MBT.
Reportedly, VT4 MBT can easily be compared to any of the modern, Russian, Western and European Main Battle Tank in terms of performance, fire power capability, maneuverability and agility.
It is pertinent to mention that VT-4 Main Battle Tank is the latest addition to the inventory of PAKISTAN ARMY after the formal acquisition of Al-Khalid-1 Main Battle Tank.
Now, the addition of VT-4 MBT in PAKISTAN ARMY’s arsenal has further strengthened and taken the offensive capabilities of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES to all new levels.
Reportedly, PAKISTAN ARMY will deploy this potent war machine in its Strike Formation for offensive roles after the induction.
Speaking on the occasion, PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES are fully aware of the internal and external security challenges and threats posed to the Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
“COAS said that PAKISTAN ARMY is alive to emerging challenges and regional threats. We are completely focused towards internal and external challenges to defense of country and prepared with matching response against all threats to sovereignty, security,” DG ISPR Quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
