Qatar Envoy For Counterterrorism and Mediation of Conflict Resolution Calls On COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa At GHQ Rawalpindi:
Qatar Special Envoy of the Foreign Minister for Counter-Terrorism and Mediation of Conflict Resolution, State of Qatar, Doctor Mutlaq Bin Majed Al-Qahtani called on CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Friday, July 9, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the Inter-Services Public Relations, Qatar Envoy and CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held an important meeting at GHQ Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries discuss matters pertaining to the recent regional security situation and mutual interest, including the ongoing Afghan Peace Process, which is brokered by the endless and tireless efforts of PAKISTAN.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly appreciates the precious contributions and the highly constructive role played by the Brotherly country Qatar for hosting and facilitating the Afghan Peace Process.
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa further hopes cooperation of Brotherly Country Qatar for ensuring the enduring and long lasting peace and stability in the region.
“COAS appreciated the contributions and highly constructive role played by Qatar in facilitating and hosting Afghan Peace Process and hoped for continuous cooperation for ensuring regional peace and stability in the region,” DG ISPR quoted COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The visiting dignitary, Qatar Special Envoy of the Foreign Minister for Counter-Terrorism and Mediation of Conflict Resolution, State of Qatar, Doctor Mutlaq Bin Majed Al-Qahtani, highly lauded and appreciated the unbiased and consistent efforts of PAKISTAN for promoting long-lasting and enduring peace in the region.
“The visiting dignitary also appreciated PAKISTAN’s consistent efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to keep working for strengthening relations between the two countries,” DG ISPR added.
The visiting dignitary also pledged to keep working for strengthening the Bilateral Security and Defense relations between the two Brotherly Country.
