TURKISH Defense Minister H.E Mr. Hulusi Akar And COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Hold High-Profile Important Meeting At GHQ Rawalpindi:
TURKISH Minister of National Defense of the Republic of TURKEY, His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar, who is on an official visit to Brotherly Country PAKISTAN, held high-profile and most important meeting with PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Ifitikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, TURKISH Defense Minister, who arrived in PAKISTANI Capital Islamabad for an official visit, met with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi.
“General Hulusi Akar (Retired), Minister of National Defense of the Republic of TURKEY called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF (COAS), today,” DG ISPR said.
During the meeting, both the dignitaries matters pertaining of professional and mutual interest, including the recent progress of Afghan Peace Process.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the ways to further enhance and strengthen the Security and Defense Cooperation between both the Brotherly Countries, PAKISTAN and TURKEY.
“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including defense & security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation especially Afghan Peace Process were discussed. Both reiterated the desire to further enhance bilateral relations, including efforts for peace and stability in the region, DG ISPR added.
The visiting dignitary, TURKISH Minister of National Defense of the Republic of TURKEY His Excellency Mr. Hulusi Akar reaffirmed complete support of TURKEY’s to PAKISTAN’s stance on different Regional and International Issues.
It is pertinent to mention that visiting TURKISH Defense Minister Mr. Hulusi Akar is also expected to meet with the PAKISTANI Defense Minister of Defense Production Ms. Zobaids Jalal and the PAKISTANI Defense Minister Pervez Khattak.
During the upcoming meetings, TURKISH Defense Minister H.E Mr. Hulusi Akar will discuss the bilateral cooperation in the Security, Defense and Military fields. He will also discuss the latest developments in Afghanistan and recent regional security issues.
