Australia Admires PAKISTAN NAVY Role In Maintaining Maritime Regional Security:
Australian High Commissioner to PAKISTAN Dr. Geoff Shaw called on PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi at PAKISTAN NAVAL HEADQUARTERS Rawalpindi. During the meeting, both parties exchange views on matters of mutual interest.

Australia is an important defense partner of PAKISTAN and the recent visit of Australian High Commissioner to PAKISTAN NAVAL HQ will help to further boost the military to military co-operation between both the countries.
The PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Zaffar Mahmood Abbasi highlighted the role of PAKISTAN NAVY in maintaining peace and stability in the Arabian Sea.
The visiting Australian High Commissioner Dr. Geoff Shaw admires and lauded the role of PAKISTAN NAVY in maintaining the maritime security of the region.
Earlier in June 2018, Australian Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin visited PAKISTAN and meets the senior military leadership of the country. The Australian Air Chief visits the General Headquarter (GHQ) in Rawalpindi and meets with the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Ahmed Bajwa.
During the meeting, both the parties share views on different issues of mutual interest, including increasing the cooperation in the domain of security and defense between the two countries.
The Visiting Australian Air Chief Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin appreciated the PAKISTAN ARMY’s Efforts and sacrifices in the ongoing War against Terrorism. The defense cooperation between the two countries has significantly increased in the recent years and this defense cooperation between the two countries would further strengthened in the coming years.
