CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi Attends 24th International Sea Power Symposium 2021 During Official Visit To USA:
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, who is on an official visit to the united states, attended the 24th International Sea Power Symposium 2021 on Monday, September 20, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also held One on One important meeting with the Naval Leadership of various Friendly and Allied countries in the sidelines of the Symposium
CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi held one on one important meetings with the Naval Chiefs of TURKEY, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Japan, Germany, France, Argentina and the United States.
“CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on official visit to USA attended 24th Int’l Sea Power Symposium 2021. On the sidelines, Naval Chief had call-ons with US Secy of Navy, senior officials of US Navy & Naval Chiefs of TURKEY, Argentina, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan & Sri Lanka,” DGPR NAVY said.
During the meeting, the dignitaries discussed various matters of professional and mutual interest, bilateral Naval collaboration and emerged shared security challenges in the maritime domains.
On the occasion, the CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also apprised the Naval Chiefs of different countries on PAKISTAN’s firm resolve and commitment to maintain peace and stability in the indian Ocean Region (iOR) by taking initiative of PAKISTAN’s NAVY Regional Maritime Security Patrols and proving support to the Combined Maritime Force Operations.
The delegation of the 80 foreign countries, including Naval Chiefs, participated in the International Sea Power Symposium 2021.
During the call-ons matters of mutual interest and bilateral collaboration were discussed. Adm also apprised counterparts on Pakistan commitment to maintain peace & stability in IOR. Earlier, CNS also visited US Surface Warfare School and was briefed about role of US Navy. (2/2)

It is pertinent to mention that the International Sea Power Symposium is a biennial event held at the USA Naval War College Newport.
The top forum offers a unique opportunity to the Naval Chiefs of different countries to promote and discuss international maritime security cooperation with each other.
The 2021 Symposium theme was ‘Strength in Unity’. The few important discussion topics of the symposium were Combating Invisible Force, Sea Power in the Information Age, and Illegal Unreported and Unregulated Fishing.
