Course Commissioning Parade Of 24th SSC And 116th Midshipmen Held At PAKISTAN NAVY Academy Karachi:

The Course Commissioning Parade of 24th Short Service Commission (SSC) and 116th Midshipmen was held at the PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy (PNA) Karachi on Saturday, December 25, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

The Commissioning contingent consist of 103 PAKISTANI Midshipmen, 2 Midshipmen from Bahrain Forces and 1 Midshipmen from the State of Palestine along with 28 officers from SSC Course participated in the event.

Commanding Royal Bahrain Naval Force Rear Admiral Muhammad Yousif Al-Asam graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also present during the passing out parade.

While addressing the participants, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi congratulated the newly passed out graduates after the completion of their training.

CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also highlighted the dynamics of hybrid and modern warfare and challenges of responsibility for the newly passed out graduates.

On the occasion, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also appreciated the Midshipmen from Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries, including Bahrain and Palestine, for showing distinctive performance throughout the course.

While addressing the ceremony, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony Cherish his time spent as the Alma Mater, he emphasized the importance of remaining resolute, while taking the sacred task of defending the maritime frontiers of their Sacred Countries.

Commander RBNF urged the newly passed out graduates to give up their best in order to live up the glorious tradition of their services and to become a pride for their Nation.

Later, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony distributed the Prizes, Shields and Medals to the distinction holders. Lieutenant Moiz Ahmed from PAKISTAN NAVY won the prestigious and coveted QUAID E AZAM GOLD MEDAL for maintaining the overall best performance in the course.

The Academy’s Dirk clinched by the Midshipmen Huzaifa Javed Niazi, while the Cadet Abdallah H M Maqdasawai from the State of Palestine won the Chief of the Staff Gold Medal.

Cadet Salar Muhammad from the SSC clinched the Commandant Gold Medal, while the Fox’l Squadron clinched the coveted Proficiency Banner.

Earlier in his Welcome Address, the Commandant PAKISTAN NAVAL Academy (PNA) Commodore Sohail Ahmed Azmie highlighted the quality education being imparted to the Cadets of PAKISTAN and other Friendly Countries.

He urged the cadets to hold fast the ideals of honor, courage, loyalty in order become an Officer with firm character.

The Course Commissioning Ceremony was attended by the senior Miliary, Civil and parents of the cadets.
