Flag Hoisting Ceremony Of 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21 Held At PAKISTAN NAVY Dockyard Karachi:

An impressive, prestigious and colorful Flag Hoisting ceremony was held at PAKISTAN NAVY Dockyard Karachi to formally commence the proceedings of 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21 on Friday, February 12, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an official statement on the official Twitter Handler.

A large number of senior Military Officials, Observers and Diplomats and PAKISTAN NAVY officials attended the prestigious Flag Hoisting Ceremony. The ceremony features the simultaneously hoisting of flags of all the participating countries of the 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21.

During the ceremony, the message of CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi was read loud and clear during the ceremony.

In his message, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi warmly greeted and welcomed all the participants of the seventh AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise, which is the initiative of PAKISTAN NAVY.

CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi underlined that 7th Edition of AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise will provide a much-needed medium to develop and enhance interoperability amongst different Naval Forces and it will also help to develop the doctrinal synergy to tackle all the maritime security challenges. Furthermore, the exercise will also help to secure the sustainable maritime environment.

“Adm underlined that AMAN Ex will provide a medium for doctrinal synergy to tackle maritime security challenges & to enhance interoperability amongst navies. CNS also highlighted that camaraderie will grow & bring us closer to common goals of regional peace & prosperity,” DGPR NAVY said.

In his message, PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi highlighted the PAKISTAN NAVY’s initiative of Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) to secure and protect the national interests in the indian Ocean Region (iOR).

CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi also added that it will also help to bring regional peace, security and prosperity through collaborative and collective efforts.

In his welcome address, Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf heart-fully welcomed and greeted all the participants and thanked them for their enthusiastic participation in the AMAN-21 Naval Exercise.

COMPAK Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf hoped that the AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise would prove beneficial and mutually rewarding for all the participants.

COMPAK Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that the 7th Edition of AMAN-21 Exercise will not only help to enhance the interoperability between all the Participants Naval Forces, but it will also help to extend PAKISTAN’s quest for peace, stability, security and order at Sea.

“Commander Pak Fleet R/Adm Naveed Ashraf thanked participating countries & sought their cooperation in achieving objectives, hoping that Ex would prove mutually rewarding for all. A large No of senior military reps, observers, diplomats & PN officials attended the ceremony,” DGPR NAVY added.

Participating Countries in AMAN-2021 Flag Hoisting Ceremony

COMPAK Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf acknowledged the Flags of the participating countries from across the globe fluttering together that would be seen as the symbol of the Exercise motto, ‘Together for Peace’.

Up to 45 International Naval Forces participated in the current 7th Edition of the Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21 with their Submarines, Warships, Frigates, Corvettes, Ships, Aircraft and Special Operation Forces along with other Naval Assets.

It is pertinent to mention that the 7th Edition of AMAN-21 NAVAL Exercise is being held from 11-16 February, 2021. The AMAN-21 Multinational Naval Exercise is one of the Mega Events organized and held by PAKISTAN NAVY to amplify its commitment towards making the seas safer for positive human activities.

International Maritime Conference-21 (IMC-21):

It is pertinent to mention that National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), under the auspices of PAKISTAN NAVY, is also holding the International Maritime Conference (IMC-21) from 13-15 February, 2021.

The International Maritime Conference would cover the thoughts of the distinguished National and International Scholars on the theme of “Development of Blue Economy under a Secure and Sustainable Environment: A Shared Future for Western indian Ocean Region”.
