PAKISTAN And CHINA Kicks-off Joint Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020 On West Coast Of india:
The Sixth consecutive edition of the Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020 between PAKISTAN NAVY and CHINESE Navy kicks-off in the Arabian Sea near west coast of india in a prestigious ceremony held in Karachi, PAKISTAN NAVY Spokesperson Director General Public Relations Rear Admiral Arshid Javed notified via Official Twitter account.
The Deputy Commander of Peoples Liberation Army Theater Command Vice Admiral Dong Jun was the Chief Guest of the opening ceremony of Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020. From the PAKISTANI Side, Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq was also presented on the occasion.
In the Welcome Address, the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq welcomed the visiting Chinese Armed and Naval Forces Officers, personnel and officials, alluding to the time-tested friendship and brotherhood between the Armed forces of two Countries.

The Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq further said that this is the sixth consecutive edition of the Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020, which reflects the strong bond between the two Countries.
On the occasion, the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq hoped that the sixth consecutive edition of Sea Guardians-2020 exercise will help to further boost the military ties between the two friendly countries and it will also prove to be beneficial in augmenting strategic cooperation and interoperability between the Armed and Naval Forces of both the countries.
In his opening remarks, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony Deputy Commander of Southern Theater Command of People’s Liberation Army Navy(PLA (N), Vice Admiral Dong Jun specially thanked PAKISTAN NAVY for hosting the sixth consecutive edition of Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020. The Vice Admiral Dong Jun hoped that the commencement of the Sea Guardians-2020 exercise will benefit the Naval Forces and Naval Fleet of the both the countries and both the Naval Forces will gain valuable professional experience from the exercise.
During the Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020, the CHINESE fleet comprises of PLA (N) Marines Corps Detachment including different platforms, assets arrived at Karachi to participate in the Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020. During the Bilateral Exercise Sea Guardians-2020, the Frontline frigates/destroyers along with Air and Other assets and Special Operations Forces of both the countries will carry out advance level naval maneuvers and joint drills in the North Arabian Sea on the west coast of india.
The commencement of Bilateral Naval Exercise-2020 aimed at sharing valuable professional experience on facing unconventional threats and Hybrid Warfare between the Special Operations Forces of PAKISTAN and CHINA at sea; improve security cooperation between the Naval Forces of both the countries and to promote the safe and secure regional maritime environment.
The Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020 is a reflection of strongly military cooperation between the Armed, Air and Naval Forces of both the countries and it will in augmenting strong bilateral cooperation between the Naval Forces of the two friendly countries.
Furthermore, various social and recreational activities will also be conducted during the Sea Guardians-2020 Exercise. These activities will be witnessed by the senior officials from both the Navies respectively.
The opening ceremony of PAKISTAN CHINA Bilateral Naval Exercise Sea Guardians-2020 was attended by the large number of High-Ranking Military officials from both the Navies.
