The Commander Karachi (COMKAR) Command Annual Efficiency Awards Ceremony 2020 held at the Bahria Auditorium Karachi on Tuesday, 12 January, 2020, PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR Rear Admiral Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement on the official microblogging website.

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

Upon arrival, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khani Niazi was warmly greeted, welcomed and received by the Commander Karachi (COMKAR) Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi.

Speaking on the occasion, CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi said PAKISTAN NAVY is fully capable, prepared and equipped to Defend the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of PAKISTAN, including Gwadar and CPEC.

While speaking on the occasion, Commander Karachi (COMKAR) Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi highlighted the professional and technical training of Cadets and Officers of PAKISTAN NAVY.

During the occasion, Commander Karachi highlighted the different milestones achieved by PAKISTAN NAVY in the previous year, including the precautionary measures to counter and control the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Sacred Country of PAKISTAN.

Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Faisal Rasul Lodhi also highlighted the technical assistance provided by PAKISTAN NAVY to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and local government back in 2020.

Later, Chief Guest of the Ceremony, CNS Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi distributed the Prizes to the Officers and Men of PAKISTAN NAVY for the outstanding and remarkable performance in their respective categories.

In Major Training Unit, the combined Efficiency Shield wing by PNS KARSAZ, while PNS RAHNUMA wins the Combined Efficiency Shield in Small Training Unit.

PNS NIGRAN was awarded combined Efficiency Shield in Support and Services Category.
