PAKISTAN NAVY Conducts Bilateral Naval Exercise With Russian, Oman, Japanese And US Navies In Gulf Of Aden And North Arabian Sea:

PAKISTAN NAV Ship PNS ALAMGIR, embarked with Helicopter, participated in the Bilateral Naval Exercise with Russian, Oman, Japanese and US Navies in the Gulf of Aden and the North Arabian Sea on Monday, March 8, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement on the official Twitter Account.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head, PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS ALAMIR, embarked with Helicopter, participated in the Bilateral Naval exercise with the Russian Federation Naval Ships STOIKY and KOLA, Royal Oman Navy Ship KHASSAB, Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force Ship ARIAKE and the United States Navy Ship JOHN PAUL JONES in North Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

“PAKNAVY Ship conducted bilateral exercises with Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force, Royal Oman Navy, Russian Federation Navy & US Navy Ships in Gulf of Aden & NAS. Exercises aimed to enhance interoperability & augment collaborative efforts for maritime security in IOR,” DGPR NAVY said.

The main aim of the Bilateral Naval Exercise is to augment and synergize the collaborative efforts and enhance the interoperability to ensure the maritime security in the region.

“The deployment of #PAKNAVY Ship on Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) in Gulf of Aden & NAS is part of PN initiative to contribute toward regional maritime security & to support Intl efforts against the menace of maritime terrorism, piracy & narco-arms smuggling,” DGPR NAVY added.

PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS ALAMGIR is currently deployed by PAKISTAN NAVY to undertake the Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) in the North Arabian Sea (NAS) and the Gulf of Aden.

The patrols conducted by the PAKISTAN NAVY ship is a unique initiative by PAKISTAN NAVY to contribute towards the regional maritime security, to support narco-arms smuggling, piracy and to support the International Efforts against the menace of maritime terrorism.

PAKISTAN NAVY, as a Primary NAVAL FORCES of SACRED COUNTRY PAKISTAN, is fully committed to play its due role in ensuring maritime security and safety in the region.
