PAKISTAN NAVY Promoted Commodore Abdul Munib To The Rank Of Rear Admiral:

PAKISTAN NAVY has promoted the Commodore Abdul Munib to the rank of Rear Admiral with immediate effect, PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PAKISTAN NAVY promoted Commodore Abdul Munib to the rank of Rear Admiral.

“Cdre Abdul Munib promoted to rank of Rear Admiral. The Adm got commission in #PAKNAVY in 1992. He is a graduate of PN War College, NDU & Naval Command Course, USA. He has an illustrious career having vast experience of Command & Staff appointments. He is also recipient of SI(M),” DGPR NAVY said.

Rear Admiral Abdul Munib:

Rear Admiral Abdul Munib got commission in PAKISTAN NAVY back in 1992. He is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War College and National Defense University. He is also a graduate of Naval Command Course, USA.

During his outstanding career, he has commanded several Command & Staff appointments. His major Command and Staff appointments includes, Commanding officer of PAKISTAN NAVY Ship PNS ALAMGIR, PNS AKRAM, PNS AATISH and PNS LARKANA. He has also served as the Commander Surface Task Group-2, Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron, Commander Combined Task Force (CTF-151) at US NAVCENT Bahrain.

His major Staff appointments include, Director Naval Operations Plans, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff Operations, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff Operational Plans and Deputy Naval Secretary.

In recognition of its Sacred Country PAKISTAN, he is also awarded with the Coveted and Prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).

After the promotion, Rear Admiral Abdul Munib has been appointed at Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
