PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR Visits Dar es Salaam Port In Tanzania As Part Of Overseas Deployment In African Region:

PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR visits the Port of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania as part of Overseas Deployment in the African Region on Sunday, January 16, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR also establishes the free Medical Camp as a goodwill gesture from the Brotherly People of PAKISTAN to the Brotherly People of Tanzania.

Upon arrival at the port of Dar Es Salaam, the PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS ALAMGIR was warmly welcomed, received and welcomed by the Top Senior Officials of the Tanzanian Navy and the Naval & Air Attaché of PAKISTAN at Tanzania.

During the port visit, the Mission Commander and the Commanding Officer of the PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS ALAMGIR held One on One important meeting with the Tanzanian Navy Naval Operations & Training Officer.

They also held an important meeting with the Chief of Medical Services Tanzanian People Defense Force (TPDF).

During the various interactions, the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to mutual and professional interest, including the enhancement of Bilateral Ties in all spheres between PAKISTAN and Tanzania.

On the occasion, the Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR conveyed the Best Wishes from the CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the People of Tanzania in general and the Tanzanian Navy in particular.

The Mission Commander of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR also extended the gratitude for the whole-hearted support provided by the Top level Tanzanian Authorities for arranging the visit of PNS ALAMGIR. During the interactions, the High-Commission of PAKISTAN at Tanzania also presents onboard the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR.

PAKISTAN NAVY also established the free Medical Camp at Port Dar Es Salaam as part of a goodwill gesture from the People of PAKISTAN to the People of Tanzania.

A specialized medical team of PAKISTAN NAVY comprising of the Doctors and Paramedics provided free medical treatment and medications to over 2,500 patients during the camp. The step of establishment the free Medical Camp was widely appreciated by the local populace.

On the completion of the Port Visit, the PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS ALAMGIR participated in the Bilateral Exercise Naval Exercise with Tanzanian Navy Warship PENGUSI.

The bilateral naval exercise aimed to further enhance the cooperation and interoperability between the Naval Forces of Brotherly ISLAMIC Countries of PAKISTAN and Tanzania.

The recent visit to Dar Es Salaam by PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS ALAMGIR is in-line with the PAKISTAN NAVY policy to ‘Engage Africa’ in order to explore new avenues of cooperation, developing interoperability and strengthen Bilateral Defense and Security Ties between PAKISTAN and the African Countries.
