PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL Conducts Bilateral Naval Exercise Lion Star With Sri Lankan Navy During Official Visit To Sri Lanka:
PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL, which PAKISTAN recently acquired from its Iron Brother CHINA, visits Brotherly Country Sri Lanka and Conducts Lion Star Bilateral Naval Exercise with the Sri Lankan Navy on Saturday, December 18, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL visits Sri Lanka as part of Flag Showign and Goodwill gesture visit.
“PAK NAVY Warship TUGHRIL visited Colombo, Sri Lanka. The CO of PNS TUGHRIL called on Western Naval Area Cdr of Sri Lanka Navy & conveyed regards of CNS Adm Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi. PNS TUGHRIL also participated in bilateral Exercise Lion Star with host Navy,” DGPR NAVY said.
Upon arrival, the PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL warmly welcomed, received and greeted by the Top Level Sri Lankan Navy Officials and the Defense Attaché of PAKISTAN in Sri Lanka.
During the port visit, the Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Ship PNS TUGHRIL Captain Shahid Ahmed held One on One important meeting with the Western Naval Area Commander of Sri Lanka Navy.
During the meeting, the dignitaries discussed various matters of professional and mutual interest. The dignitaries also discussed the ways to further augment and enhance the bilateral relations between two Brotherly countries, including Defense and Security.
On the occasion, the Commanding Officer of PAKISTAN NAVY visiting Warship PNS TUGHRIL conveyed the best wishes of CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Sri Lanka in general and Sri Lankan Navy in particular.
Upon completion of the most important visit of Sri Lanka, PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL conducted the Bilateral Naval Exercise Lion Star with the Sri Lankan Navy.
The Lion Star Bilateral Naval Exercise aimed to further enhance the professionalism and interoperability between the Naval Forces of both the friendly countries.

“Upon completion of port visit, PNS TUGHRIL conducted bilateral Exercise Lion Star with Sri Lankan Navy Ship to enhance interoperability in the maritime domain,” DGPR NAVY added in the statement.
The recent visit of PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS TUGHRIL to Sri Lanka will provide a golden opportunity for both the Brotherly Countries to further enhance the close Bilateral Diplomatic and Defense relations between both the friendly countries.
