PAKISTAN NAVY’s Upgraded Agosta 90B Diesel Attack Submarine Sinks Decommissioned Warship With A Single Torpedo During SEASPARK-22 TRI-SERVICES Maritime Exercise:

PAKISTAN NAVY’s upgraded and modernized PNS HAMZA (S-139) Agosta 90B Diesel Attack Submarine successfully hit and sink a decommissioned Warship of PAKISTAN NAVY with a single Torpedo shot during the PAKISTAN NAVY TRI-SERVICES Maritime Exercise SEASPARK-22.

According to the details, PAKISTAN NAVY demonstrated its combat preparedness and operational readiness by live firing of lethal anti-ship missiles from Aircraft, Stealth Warship and the Submarine.

The video released by the PAKISTAN NAVY showed that a decommissioned warship of PAKISTAN NAVY was successfully split into half after hitting by a Torpedo that was launched by the PAKISTAN NAVY’s upgraded Agosta 90B Submarine.

The torpedo trial of PAKISTAN NAVY PNS HAMZA (Agosta 90B Submarine) was conducted during the PAKISTAN NAVY SEASPARK-22 TRI-SERVICES MARITIME EXERCISE, which was held biennially under the auspices of PAKISTAN NAVAL FORCES COMMAND.

It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN NAVY Submarine PNS HAMZA Agosta 90B Submarine was upgraded and modernized by the TURKISH Defense Giant Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş. or STM.

During the video, it was shown that the PAKISTAN NAVY PNS HAMZA Agosta 90B Submarine successfully fired the DM-24A Torpedo, which successfully hits the PAKISTAN NAVY’s decommissioned Warship (Type 21 Frigate) and split into two pieces.

TURKISH Defense Giant STM won the contract for the upgradation of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Agosta 90B Submarine by defeating other companies.

According to the contract, the PAKISTAN NAVY Submarine PNS HAMZA was modernized within the scope of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Agosta 90B Submarine Modernization Projects delivered to PAKISTAN NAVY back on 29th April, 2022.

Modernization Program of PAKISTAN NAVY’s PNS HAMZA Agosta 90B Diesel Attack Submarine:

Under the modernization and upgradation plan of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Agosta 90B Submarine, the TURKISH Defense Giant STM installed the following new technologies, suites and control systems in the submarine:

    • Advanced Weapons Control (AWC) system
    • Integrated Underwater Command and Control (IUCCS & C2IS) System
    • Highly Advanced Attack Periscopes
    • Advanced Navigation Periscopes
    • Hi-Tech Sonar Systems
    • Ship Data Distribution System
    • Electronics Warfare Suite
    • Counter-electronics Warfare Suite
    • Rudder Systems to the Submarine
    • STMDENGİZ Electronic Chart Display and Information System
    • Converters
    • Submarine night attacking and surveillance system

The addition of this highly advanced and modernized Agosta 90B Diesel Attack Submarine will significantly increase the Offensive and Surveillance capabilities of PAKISTAN NAVY against india, the Enemy Number One and the arch rival of both Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN and CHINA.

The TURKISH Defense Giant STM is also collaborating with other TURKISH DEFESNE Giants to develop the PAKISTAN NAVY’s Next Generation MILGEM ADA Class Stealth Warship, which is currently constructing at both Istanbul Naval Shipyard and Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works under the Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement.
