PAKISTAN Selects TURKEY’s ASELSAN ALPER Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) Radar For Damen Corvettes:
PAKISTAN has acquired the state of the art 2300 Tons Corvette from friendly country Romania in Late 2019.
The 2300 Tons Corvette is equipped with the cutting edge weaponry, technology and armaments to fulfill PAKISTAN’s growing regional security needs. Now, PAKISTAN NAVY has selected the TURKEY’s ASELSAN ALPER Low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) Radar for its Damen Corvettes.
It is worth mentioning that the overall technical and tactical capabilities of any Warship, Frigate, Corvette or Vessel is heavily dependent on the overall selection of radar and antenna system for tracking and subtracking purposes.
TURKISH Defense Giant ASELSAN is the global leader in manufacturing state of the art and cutting-edge tracking and antennas.

ASELSAN has developed the family of state of the art Naval Surveillance radars equipped with cutting edge antennas to provide round the clock surveillance to the host ship.
The company has developed different variants of Naval Radars, including the ALPER Naval Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) radar, SERDAR surveillance radar for critical coastal areas and DALYAN, which is basically a counterpart of ALPER Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) and designed to install on Submarines rather than ships or corvettes.
Significance of ALPER Naval Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) Radar for PAKISTAN NAVY Damen Corvettes:
The ALPEL Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) radar is basically designed for surveillance, detection, tracking and detection of low altitude and surface air targets in littoral hybrid warfare environment.
The ALPER LPI Radar can be equipped with the navigation radar by sharing its navigation control console and it can also be integrated into Ship or Corvette’s Combat Management System (CMS).
The ALPEL Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) Radar comes with the 2 meters long SWGA antenna operating at X-Band frequency.
The SWGA antenna comes with the ALPER LPI Radar features horizontally polarized fan beam to meet the requirements of levels of cross polarization’s and low side lobe operating in a condense 3D space.
The ALPER Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) Radar features the digital signal processing system, digital receiver, an SWGA array with high Angular resolution, clutter detection and suppression algorithms and low sidelobe levels.
