Like any maritime nation, The Sacred Country PAKISTAN has substantial stakes in the maritime domain. Our interest in safer and crime-free seas is rooted in three conspicuous realities–our extraordinary dependence on the seas for trade, making the multi-billion Dollars CHINA-PAKISTAN Economic Corridor (CPEC) project operational in the least possible time frame.

PAKISTAN NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, is all set to host the 8th Consecutive Edition of the AMAN-2023 Multinational Naval Exercise with the participation of Dozens of Friendly and Allied Countries in February 2023.

In order to further strengthen the Bilateral Defense and Security Relations and Interoperability with Friendly and Allied Navies, the Sacred Country PAKISTAN has started the Multinational Maritime Exercise with the name ‘AMAN’, means Peace, back in 2007.

The starting of the AMAN Multinational Naval Exercise was marked as the Blue Diplomacy Move by the PAK NAVY, as it successfully brings together the different Allied and Friendly Countries to maintain Strong correlations and interoperability at sea.

The exercise has been aptly named AMAN, which is the Urdu term for Peace and Stability. It signifies Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s endeavor for peace while remaining fully prepared to ensure peace in the region.

While operating together, the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, as a responsible Nuclear Power, must be mindful that the contemporary global maritime environment remains fraught with conventional and non-conventional challenges which require a collaborative response by the different Allied and Friendly Naval Forces of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

PAKISTAN NAVY is wisely practicing the idea propagated by Albert Einstein which says, “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding”. Therefore, AMAN exercises are playing a pivotal role against regional and extra-regional threats faced by the participating countries in general and the region as a whole.

PAKISTAN NAVY, as the responsible NAVAL FORCE of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has always contributed its due role towards the Peace and Stability in the region.

The 8th Consecutive Edition of the AMAN Multinational Naval Exercise would also be another huge success and significant milestone not only for PAKISTAN NAVY, but for the entire Sacred Country PAKISTAN as a whole.
