Steel Cutting Ceremony Of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Highly Advanced And Hi-Tech Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV-II) Held At Damen Shipyard In Romania:

More Blessings for the Best and Great PAKISTANI Nation as the Steel Cutting ceremony of Second Batch of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Highly Advanced, State of the Art and Hi-Tech Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV-II) held at the Galati Shipyard in Romania on Saturday, July 16, 2022, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar (SI M) said in an official statement. 

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY, During the Steel Cutting Ceremony, the Ambassador of PAKISTAN to Romania Dr. Zafar Iqbal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

After showing complete and deep satisfaction over the performance of the 1st Batch of Offshore Patrol Vessels (PNS YARMOOK & PNS TABUK), PAKISTAN NAVY inks contract for the 2nd Batch of Highly Advanced and Hi-Tech Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV-II) with Galati Shipyard in Romania.

While addressing the participants of the Ceremony, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance and significance of highly advanced Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV-II) in the maritime domain.

He added that the addition of such Hi-Tech Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV-II) will also strengthen the capability of PAKISTAN NAVY to conduct Independent Maritime Security Patrols in the indian Ocean Region (iOR).

He underscored that the addition of such Highly Advanced Surface Combatant Platforms will act as a formidable force multiplier in enhancing the capacity and Capability of PAK NAVY to safeguard the Sacred Maritime frontiers from the World’s numbers one terrorist country, india.

On the occasion, the Chief Guest of the ceremony showers praise for PAKISTAN NAVY that has been successfully playing its due role in Safeguarding the Regional and International Maritime frontiers for the World Community.

The Steel Cutting Ceremony of Second Batch of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Highly Advanced and Cutting-edge Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV-II) was attended by the PAKISTAN NAVY Chief Naval Overseer (Romania), Senior Officials and Management of Damen Shipyards Gorinchem and Galati and Top Ranking Officials of PAK NAVY.
