TURKISH President H.E Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan Inaugurates TURKEY’s Premier International Defense Industry Fair 2021 At TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center Istanbul:
TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Inaugurated the Premier International Defense Exhibition of TURKEY named as International Defense Industry Fair 2021 or IDEF 21 at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, a press release said.
The Premier International Defense Exhibition of PAKISTAN’s Iron Brother TURKEY, the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 21), successfully kicks off at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul.
The IDEF 21 or International Defense Industry Fair 2020 will continue from Aug 17-21, 2021, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of TURKEY and it will be hosted by the Ministry of National Defense under the management and responsibility of the Sacred TURKISH ARMED FORCES Foundation.
The IDEF 21 International Defense Exhibition is organized by the TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organizations at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center.
The International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 21) is one of the 4 biggest Defense Exhibition in the world, where the latest Products and Technologies of PAKISTAN Iron Brother TURKEY’s Showcased to the thousands of Exhibitors and Visitors across the globe.
The last edition of International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 19) was previously held in May 2019 and the President of Republic of TURKEY His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan opened the Exhibition.
A total of 587 delegations from 70 countries and 3 International organizations participated in the last edition of International Defense Industry Fair 2020 and showcased their latest Defense products and technologies in IDEF IDEF 19.
The International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 19) was attended by the 15 Ministers, 15 Deputy Ministers, 13 Chiefs of General Staff (CGS), 4 Chiefs of Staff (CS), 6 Force Commanders and 13 Undersecretaries of different countries across the globe.

The 15th Edition of the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 21) is the Premier and Internationally recognized Defense Expo that will be organized between August 17 – 21, 2021 in Istanbul. It will be organized under auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of TURKEY and hosted by the Ministry of National Defense of TURKEY.
Under the area of the responsibility, the TURKISH ARMED FORCES Foundation or TAAF, the IDEF is a prestigious platform, where different countries from across the globe introduced their hi-tech Defense Products and Technologies.
“Under the management and responsibility of the TURKISH ARMED FORCES Foundation or TAFF, IDEF is a prestigious platform where high-tech products are introduced, face-to-face meetings are planned and carried out between the official delegations and the participating companies, and important agreements are signed providing a base to the development of international cooperation in the field of defense industry,” Press release said.
The 15th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 21) will also significantly help to contribute to the regional and global peace with the help of different networks that are to be established between the official representatives of foreign and domestic companies.
