PAKISTAN ARMY Hosts Military Contingents From 9 Countries For 3rd International PACES Competition in Lahore:
PAKISTAN ARMY All set to host Military Contingents from 9 Countries in the 3rd International Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) Competition being held in Lahore from 1st to 7th November, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head, the third edition of the Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) competition is being held in Lahore on the first week of November, 2021.
“Contingents from six countries comprising 107 military personnel including Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and UAE will take part in the mega event whereas Myanmar, Indonesia and Egypt will be participating as observers,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.
Contingents from six allied countries along with 107 Military personnel from Palestine, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Iraq and UAE will participate in the event, while Indonesia, Egypt and Myanmar will participate as Observers.
121 Players from 9 different teams of PAKISTAN ARMY are all set to participate in the tournament. The Military Contingents of 4 different teams, included Palestine, Jordan, Sri Lanka and UAE, have arrived in the provincial capital Lahore, while the remaining two Teams from Iraq and Uzbekistan will join other by 31st October, 2021.
The Opening Ceremony of the 3rd International PACES Competition will be held on 1st November, 2021 at the Fortress Stadium, while the closing ceremony would be organized at the Ayub Stadium on 7th November, 2021.
The earlier editions of 1st and 2nd PACES International Competition were organized respectively in 2016 and 2018 in Lahore.
“Earlier 1st and 2nd International PACES competitions were organized in 2016 and 2018 in Lahore. The event will showcase PAKISTAN as a peaceful and sports loving nation and will project the true face of our country,” DG ISPR continued.
The commencement of the 3rd consecutive edition will showcase the Sacred Country PAKISTAN as the Peaceful and Sports Loving Nation in the world. Moreover, it will also project the Soft Image of the Sacred Country PAKISTAN in the world.
