Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN cuts One of the Biggest Defense Deal with the Thai Defense Industry for the Acquisition of Highly Capable 100 x Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles under Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement on Tuesday, 29th October 2024, PAK MILITARY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said in an Official Statement.

 

The signing ceremony, held on September 18, 2024, was attended by high-ranking officials from both nations. Key representatives included Colonel Thanai Phuemphun, Acting Assistant Military Attache of Thailand in Islamabad, and Major General Atique Ahmed, Director General Technical at HIT.

According to the Details, Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN cuts One of the Biggest Defense Deal with the Thai Defense Industry for the Acquisition of Highly Capable 100 x Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles under Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement.

The memorandum was signed by Mr. Kant Kulhiran, representing TDI, and Colonel (Retired) and Chief Executive Officer of Margalla Heavy Industries Limited, HIT, Ajmal Rafique with witnesses from both sides, including PAKISTANI partners from Paradigm Technologies International.

This Transfer of Technology (ToT) clause in the agreement will enable the PAK ARMY’s Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) to produce the First Win Armored Vehicles locally in facility at Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

According to the Details, Thai Defense Industry Co., Ltd. (TDI), a joint venture between Thailand’s Defense Technology Institute (DTI) and Chaiseri, and Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) has finalized one of the Biggest Defense Deal to supply 100 First Win (FW 4×4) wheeled armored vehicles to Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

Thai Defense Industry Co., Ltd. (TDI), a joint venture between Thailand’s Defense Technology Institute (DTI) and Chaiseri will supply Highly Capable 100 x Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles under Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement.

After receiving the 100 x Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles, the Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) will fulfil the requirements of additional 100 x Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles by the local production under the Transfer of Technology (ToT).

The recent Defense Deal between Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Thailand will help to pave way for promoting collaboration in others Defense Deals benefitting both Friendly Countries, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Friendly Country Thailand.

This marks a new chapter in the defense cooperation between the Two Friendly Countries, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and Friendly Country Thailand, with the potential for further collaborations in the future.

This collaboration with Thailand’s TDI is expected to further strengthen HIT’s capabilities in manufacturing modern armored vehicles.

The Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles is an nine-ton infantry mobility vehicle and features an all-welded steel monocoque V-hull that is designed for a wide range of battlefield threats, including mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and can accommodate ten troops plus a driver.

The Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles also supports a variety of weapon systems, including a 7.62mm or .50 caliber machine gun mounted on the roof, and can accommodate a Remote Weapon System (RWS), if required as per the Complex Mission Requirement.

The Chaiseri 4 x 4 Win Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicle’s Ballistic Protection meets NATO STANAG 4569 standards, with Level 3B mine protection under the hull, ensuring high survivability in intense combat situations.

With a top speed of 100 km/h, advanced suspension system, powered steering, and run-flat tires further enhance its performance in rugged terrain.
