COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Inaugurates The Institute Of Cardiology Quetta During Farewell Visit To Quetta Garrison:

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology Quetta (ICQ) during a farewell visit to Quetta Garrison on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Lieutenant General Babar Iftikhar said in an Official Statement.

On his arrival at the Quetta Garrison, the Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor warmly Greeted, Welcomed and Received the CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Upon arrival at the Quetta Garrison, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa laid a floral wreath at the Martyr’s Monument and paid a Rich and Glorious Tribute to the Martyrs of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, who laid down their lives for the sake of their Sacred County PAKISTAN while fighting the indian and iranian state backed and state sponsored terrorism in Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

While interacting the Troops and Officers of Quetta Garrison, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded the unmatched contributions and efforts of the Corps and its Formations towards maintaining the peace and stability in the province.

Later, COAS Bajwa inaugurated Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology Quetta (ICQ) first-ever cardiac facility of 120 beds established in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On the occasion, the UAE Ambassador to Sacred Country PAKISTAN, Governor Balochistan, Director UPAP and Chief Secretary Balochistan were also present during the inaugurating ceremony of the Institute of Cardiology Quetta (ICQ).

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also conferred the Prestigious and Coveted Sitara-e-QUAID-I-AZAM on the behalf of the President of the ISLAMIC Republic of PAKISTAN to the Ambassador of UAE to Sacred Country PAKISTAN H.E Abdullah Khalifa Al-Ghafeli Director UPAP.

The newly established Institute of Cardiology Quetta (ICQ) would be the first facility that would provide much convenience to local patients to treat the heart-related diseases.

PAK ARMY CHIEF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the establishment of this Cardiac Institute will serve the Population of Balochistan at Quetta and 2 more facilities have also been planned at different areas of Balochistan under the same project.

During the visit, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also visited the Command & Staff College (C&SC) Quetta and School of Infantry and Tactics (SI&T) and interacted with the Officers and Troops.

COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also highly lauded the Unshakable Resolve, Commitment and Dedication of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES in their ongoing fight against the iranian and indian state backed, state funded and state sponsored terrorism in different areas of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

On the occasion, the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa also interacted with the different Students and Faculty members of the institutions.
