COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa Installs Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz As New Colonel Commandant Of Artillery Corps:
In a Major Development, PAK ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OR ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa installed Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz as the new Colonel Commandant of PAKISTAN ARMY Artillery Corps.

The newly promoted Colonel Commandant Artillery Corps Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz was previously holding the responsibility as the Commander 4 Corps.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR, the recent development comes after CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s visit to the Artillery Center.
The outgoing Colonel Commandant of Artillery Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz (retd) was previously holding the responsibility of Colonel Commandant of Artillery Corps, which would now be superseded by the new Colonel Commandant Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz.
“Outgoing Colonel Commandant of Artillery Corps Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz (retd), the large number of serving and retired officers and soldiers attended the ceremony,” DG ISPR said in an official statement.

While interacting the Officers and Troops, PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa highly lauded and appreciated the Artillery Corps for always displaying the battle-proven highest standards in operations.

“While interacting with officers and troops, COAS Gen Qamar appreciated the corps for displaying the highest standards in all professional pursuits, including their exemplary performance in operations,” DG ISPR added.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa further added that PAKISTAN ARMY, as the Premier Defense Force of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, would do all possible efforts and acquisitions to modernize the Corps of Artillery to compete with the growing future Security threat and challenges,
It is pertinent to mention that PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa also presided the high-profile 78th Formation Commanders Conference at General Headquarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi. All the Corps Commanders, Principal Staff Officers and Formation Commanders of PAKISTAN ARMY attended the Conference.
