PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia Special Forces Exercise AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 Successfully culminates at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), Pabbi on 4th March, 2022, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details, the Two weeks long PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia Special Forces Exercise AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 successfully concludes at NCTC, Pabbi, Nowshera
Corps Commander Mangla Corps Lieutenant General Shaheen Mazher Mahmood and Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces Major General Abdullah Edi Otaibi attended the AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 concluding ceremony.
“Two-weeks-long joint exercise was part of a series of bilateral military exercises between Royal Saudi Land Forces and PAKISTAN ARMY. The joint exercise focused on counter-terrorism operations, including cordon and search, combat patrolling and counter improvised explosive device drills,” ISPR said.
The Two-weeks long PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 Special Forces Exercises was part of the bilateral military exercises between the PAKISTAN ARMY and Royal Saudi Land Forces.
The Eight Consecutive edition of AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 Special Forces Exercises focused on the Counter-Terrorism Operations, Counter Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Drills, Search and Rescue, Combat Patrolling and Cordon.
The recent edition of the AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 Military exercise provided a golden opportunity to the ARMED FORCES of both the Countries, PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia, to further optimize and hone their combat readiness and operational preparedness skills.
A large number of Services and retired officials of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES also attended the AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 Concluding ceremony. Ambassador of Saudi Arabai Mr. Nawaf Saeed Al Maliky also attended the concluding ceremony.

It is expected that the recent commencement of the 2 Weeks long PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia Special Forces Exercise AL-SAMSAAM-VIII-22 will significantly help to further strengthen the Military to Military relations between both the Countries, PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia. ‘
Earlier in December 2021, PAKISTAN and Saudi Arabia enjoys the cordial military relations with each other, as the contingent of PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES also attended the Military Exercise named as ‘Al-Kaseh 3’ in Saudi Arabia.
