Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN achieves another milestone in developing lethal, cutting-edge and hi-tech indigenous Fast Attack Submarines and More Blessings for both Iron Brothers and All Weather Allies, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, as the Keel Laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Second Cutting-Edge, Hi-Tech and Lethal HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarine held at Karachi Shipyards and Engineering Works (KS&EW) on Wednesday, 14th February 2024, PAK NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY said in an Official Statement.
PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CHIEF OF THE NAVAL STAFF) Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the occasion of the Keel Laying Ceremony of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN as the Chief Guest.
Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN achieves another milestone in developing cutting-edge, lethal and hi-tech Fast Attack Submarines and More Blessings for both Iron Brothers and All Weather Allies, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, as the Keel Laying ceremony of PAKISTAN NAVY’s Second Cutting-Edge, Hi-Tech and Lethal HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarine held at Karachi Shipyards and Engineering Works (KS&EW).
This mega project will be completed at the Karachi Shipyards and Engineering Works (KS&EW) by utilizing the local resources and expertise.
Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN has upgraded the facility of KS&EW with necessary modifications to cater all the requirements for the development of the hi-tech and cutting-edge Fast Attack Submarines.
Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN cuts One of the Biggest DEFENSE DEAL worth Billions of Dollars with PAKISTAN Iron Brother and All Weather Ally CHINA for the construction of 08 x HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarines to fulfill the growing Defense and Security requirements of PAKISTAN NAVY, the Guardians of the Sacred Maritime Frontiers of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
Under the agreement, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s 04 x HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarine undertaking PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA at Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry in CHINA, whereas the remaining 04 x HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarines are being constructed in Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN at Karachi Shipyards & Engineering Works (KS&EW) under Transfer of Technology (ToT) Agreement with PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA.
This is the 2nd Fast Attack Stealth Submarine to undergo Keel Laying at KS&EW. Earlier, in Dec 2022, Keel Laying of first Fast Attack Stealth Submarine of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN was successfully undertaken and currently it is at advanced stage of construction at Karachi Shipyards and Engineering Works (KS&EW).
Speaking on the occasion, PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that it is a matter of great pride for Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN to witness the Keel Laying of HANGOR Class Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarines at Karachi Shipyard in collaboration with PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co. Ltd (M/s CSOC).
PAKISTAN NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf highly lauded the joint efforts and performance of PAKISTAN NAVY, Karachi Shipyard (KS&EW), M/s CSOC and Ministry of Defense Productiosn for the construction of these State of the Art, Hi-Tech and Lethal Fast Attack Stealth Submarines for Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN’s Defense Requirements.
On the Occasion, PAK NAVAL CHIEF (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted that indigenization is a top priority of NAVAL Headquarters policy which is being manifested by construction of these state of the art Fast Attack Stealth Submarines at KS&EW.
Earlier during his welcome address, the Managing Director KS&EW Rear Admiral Salman Ilyas highly lauded the Joint Efforts of both Iron Brothers, Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, for making the Defense of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN impregnable, Invulnerable and Invincible with different Joint Ventures and Defense Acquisitions.
The Managing Director KS&EW Rear Admiral Salman Ilyas highlighted that Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KS&EW) is fully cognizant and completely aligned with the goals set forth by the PAKISTAN NAVY in pursuing self-reliance in submarine construction.

He added that Indigenous development and construction of Fast Attack AIP Stealth Submarines in Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN are a testimony of our commitment to this National Cause. He also thanked PAKISTAN NAVY, Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry in CHINA and M/s CSOC for their continued support and cooperation in realizing various projects at hand.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of Embassy of PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA, M/s CSOC (CHINA), M/s WSIG (CHINA) and other high-ranking Government Officials including distinguished guests from MoDP and the Brave and Valiant ARMED FORCES of Beloved Peace Loving Sacred Country PAKISTAN.
