PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Italian Navy Ship ITS CARABINIERE in the Gulf of Aden on Monday, June 14, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY, PNS SAIF conduct Passage Exercise with Italian Navy Ship in Gulf of Aden.

The basic aim of the Passage Exercise is to further strengthen the bilateral relations and enhance the interoperability between the both Friendly Naval Forces.

“PAKNAVY Warship conducted Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Italian Navy Ship in Gulf of Aden. The aim of exercise was to enhance interoperability & strengthen bilateral relations b/w two navies. Ex included Maritime Interdiction Ops, Cross Deck Landings & various naval Ops procedures,” DGPR NAVY said.

The passage Exercise includes Maritime Interdiction Operations, Cross Deck Landings and various other drills aimed at further enhancing the professional expertise of Naval men deployed on the ships in the region.

PAKISTAN NAVY Warship PNS SAIF is presently conducting the Regional Maritime Security Patrols at North Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden and is now visiting Oman in pursuance of establishing cordial relations with the regional countries.

PAKISTAN NAVY, as the premier Sea-based force of Sacred Country PAKISTAN, has always remained committed in maintaining the security and regional peace in the indian Ocean Region.

PAKISTAN NAVY Ships regularly deployed for conducting Maritime Security Operations in the Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden and North Arabian Sea.

Participation of PAKISTAN NAVY in Multilateral Passage Exercise (PASSEX) is a clear manifestation of strong resolve, commitment and dedication of PAKISTAN NAVY in maintaining order, peace and stability in the region.
