Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf Assumes Responsibility As COMPAK:

Major level promotions in PAKISTAN NAVY underway as Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf has assumed the responsibility of the Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) in a prestigious and gracious ceremony in Karachi on Wednesday 21 October, 2020.

According to the details released by the PAKISTAN NAVY, the Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf has taken the command of Commander PAKISTAN Fleet (COMPAK) from Vice Admiral Asif Khaliq in a prestigious ceremony held at Karachi.

The newly appointed COMPAK Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf has taken the commission in the Operations Branch of PAKISTAN NAVY in 1989. In his long illustrious career, he has served on a number of Command and Staff appointments.

PAKISTAN NAVY Appoints New Commander Coast and Commander Karachi

His major Command appointment includes the Commander 18th and 25th Destroyer Squadrons, Commander Office of three Destroyer of PAKISTAN NAVY and Commandant PAKISTAN Naval Academy.

His major staff appointments includes Deputy CHIEF O NAVAL STAFF (Admin), Chief Staff Officer to Commander Combined Task Force-150 (CTF-150) HQ NAVCENT Bahrain, NAVAL Secretary, Captain Training at Headquarter FOST and Chief Instructor and Deputy President National Defense University, Islamabad.

The newly appointed COMPAK Rear Admiral Naveed Ashraf is a graduate of PAKISTAN NAVY War Collge Lahore, National Defense University (NDU) Islamabad and Naval Staff College USA. Moreover, he has also competed a course at Royal College of Defense Studies Course from UK.

In recognition of his meritorious of his Services for his Sacred Country PAKISTAN, he was awarded with Tamgha-E-Basalat and Hilal-I-Imtiaz (Military) or HI(M).

The smart contingent of PAKISTAN NAVY presented the Guard of Honor to the Admiral during the Change of Command Ceremony. The Change of Command Ceremony was attended by the PAKISTAN NAVY Officer, Sailors and PAKISTAN NAVY Civilians.
