COAS General Bajwa And CAS Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan Vows Fully Prepared To Vanquish Threats In All Domains With Nation’s Support:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan visited the ongoing field exercise near Gujranwala on Tuesday December 17, 2020, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an Official statement on the Official Twitter Account.
According to the details released by the ISPR, COAS General Bajwa and CAS Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan witnessed the ongoing filed exercise near Gujranwala, where the concept of using the air space management and long range Air Defense (SAM’s) was practiced.

“#COAS & #CAS visited the field exercise area near Gujranwala today. COAS & CAS witnessed an ongoing field exercise, where concepts related to optimum use of Long Range Air Defense weapon systems (SAMs) & airspace management were practiced,” DG ISPR said in a Series of Tweets.
Earlier upon arrival, COAS General Bajwa and CAS Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan were warmly welcomed, greeted and received by the PAKISTAN ARMY Commander ARMY AIR DEFENSE COMMAND (ADC) Lieutenant General Hamooduz Zaman Khan. During the occasion, Corps Commanders of Gujranwala and Mangla were also present.

The manifesto of the field exercise is to enhance the interoperability of Integrated Air Defense Systems in which the Short Range, Medium Range and Long Range Air Defense Weapon systems were incorporated.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa and CHIEF OF AIR STAFF (CAS) Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan Vows that ARMED FORCES OF PAKISTAN, PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN NAVY and PAKISTAN AIR FORCE, fully prepared to vanquish threats in all domains with the support of the Brave and Great 220 Million Nation of PAKISTAN.
The basic aim of the exercise is to achieve optimum synergy amongst the maneuvering forces, integrated Air Defense Elements and all Potent Aerial Platforms for PAKISTAN, including the Fighter Jet, Gunship Helicopters and Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs/Drones) to give a befitting response to the enemy in case of any misadventure.

Both CAS Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan and COAS General Bajwa highly appreciated the operational combat readiness and professional expertise of PAKISTAN ARMY Air Defense Command (ADC) and other Synergized Forces for the Sake of the Defense of this Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

On the occasion, CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa emphasized the need for greater cooperation, synchronization & integration to cope the modern and complex fluid battlefield challenges that lies ahead.
It is pertinent to mention that both PAKISTAN ARMY AIR DEFENSE COMMAND (ADC) demonstrated the different Short Range, Medium Range and Long Range Air Defense Systems (SAM) in the Exercise, including HQ-9 Air Defense System, HQ-16 Air Defense System and SPADA 2000 Air Defense System.
