PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command Annual Efficiency Award Ceremony was held at the PNS QASIM, Manora, Karachi on Friday, January 15, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said in an official statement on the Official Twitter Account.

PAKISTAN NAVY Chief of Staff, Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

In his welcome address, Commander Coast (COMCOAST), Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas highlighted the operational and professional achievements accomplished by the PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command. Vice Admiral Zahid Ilyas also highlighted the detail of the various activities undertaken during the ongoing year of 2020.

While addressing the Annual Efficiency Award Ceremony, Chief Guest of the Ceremony, Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed apprised that the Coastal Command of PAKISTAN NAVY had actively accomplished all of its operational tasks despite the challenging situation due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

“PAKNAVY Coastal Command Annual Efficiency Award Ceremony was held at PNS QASIM, Khi. Chief of Staff (COS), V/Adm Ahmed Saeed graced as Chief Guest & appreciated accomplishment of Ops tasks despite pandemic. CG expressed satisfaction over Ops readiness of PN Coastal Command,” PAKISTAN NAVY DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Arshid Javed said.

The Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed expressed deep and complete satisfaction over the combat preparedness and operational readiness of PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command in tacking the prevailing security challenges posed to the Sacred Maritimes Frontiers of Sacred Country PAKISTAN.

During the occasion, the Chief of Staff, Vice Admiral Ahmed Saeed highly appreciated and lauded the unflinching resolve, dedication, commitment and professionalism of PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command in successfully accomplishing the assigned due tasks.

The Chief Guest of the Ceremony, Vice Admiral highly acknowledged and appreciated the various efforts and initiatives of the PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command in successfully tackle the situation due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic by establishing Free Medical Camps in various parts in PAKISTAN and by distributing free Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) and Ration Bags at the doorstep of the needy and aggrieved people in the far flung areas of PAKISTAN, including Creek and Coastal Areas.

The PAKISTAN NAVY Coastal Command Annual Efficiency Award Ceremony was attended by the large number of Senior Serving/Retired Naval Officers, Sailors/CPOs and Civilians of PAKISTAN NAVY.
