COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa And EU Military Committee Chairman Discuss Important Matters On A High-Profile Video Call:
CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa discuss important matters with the European Union Military Committee (EUMC) Chairman General Claudio Graziano in a high-profile video call on Wednesday, June 29, 2021, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR, PAK ARMY CHIEF General Qamar Javed Bajwa and EUMC General Claudio Graziano discuss important matters on a video call.
During the call, both the dignitaries discuss matters pertaining of mutual interest, recent regional security situation and the ongoing developments in the Afghan Peace Process.
“During the call, matters of mutual interests, regional security situation including recent developments in Afghan Peace Process and enhanced bilateral cooperation with European Union (EU) came under discussion,” DG ISPR said.
Both the dignitaries also discussed the ways to further expand and enhance the Bilateral Security Cooperation of PAKISTAN with the European Union.
“COAS said that PAKISTAN values its relations with EU and is earnestly looking forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests,” DG ISPR said.
On the occasion, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that PAKISTAN highly values its relations with the European Union and it is looking forward to further enhance the Bilateral relations in multi-domains.
“The dignitary also appreciated PAKISTAN’s role in regional peace and stability especially the Afghan Peace Process. Both the dignitaries pledged to play their role for further improvement in cooperation at all levels,” DG ISPR added.
During the occasion, the EUMC Chairman General Claudio Graziani highly appreciated and lauded the positive and the unbiased due role of PAKISTAN especially in the ongoing Afghan Peace Process.
Both the dignitaries also pledged to play their due role to further improve the cooperation between PAKISTAN and European Union at all levels.
