PAKISTAN ARMY Won The 7th National Airgun Shooting Competition By Clinching 6 Gold Medals In 8 Events:

Sacred Country PAKISTAN braces more respect and commendation as PAKISTAN ARMY has won the 7th National Airgun Shooting Championship by clinching 6 Gold medals in a total of 8 events, While PAKISTAN NAVY bags 2 Gold Medals, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement.

“PAKISTAN ARMY won 7th National Airgun Shooting Championship. PAKISTAN ARMY team clinched 6 golds out of total 8 events while PAKISTAN NAVY got 2 gold medals,” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said.

“Overall the PAKISTAN ARY got six gold medals, two silvers and one bronze medal while the PAKISTAN NAVY secured two gold medals, six silver and seven bronze medals,” DG ISPR added in the statement.

It is pertinent to mention that a total of 50 participants, including the 41 International Shooters from Russia, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Kenya and France participated in the 53rd World Military Shooting Competition held at the Garrison Shooting Gallery in Lahore.

The shooter participated in the Championship with the motto “Friendship Through Sports”.

In the men’s category, Leading Marine Asif Mehmood from PAKISTAN clinched the Gold Medal, while Petty Officer Waheed Alam and Marine Zeeshan bags the second and third positions, respectively.

In the mixed category, Major Aleski Skorovogatov of Russia and Warrant Officer Anastasia Karakhmaleva bags the Gold Medal, while the Leading Marine Asif Mehmood and Lieutenant Komal Shahzadi of PAKISTAN secures the Silver Medal. The Captain Narina Kosar and Marine Zeeshan of PAKISTAN won the Bronze medal.

In the women’s category of Skeet Shooting, Anastassiou of France had bagged the gold medal. Warrant officer Anastasia Krakhmaleva of Russia clinched the Silver Medal, while Lieutenant Komal Shahzadi of PAKISTAN secured the third slot, bagging bronze medal.
