PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA Launches the 4th Type 054 A/P Stealth and Advanced Warship for PAKISTAN NAVY in a prestigious and gracious launching ceremony held at the Hudong Zhonghua (HZ) Shipyard, Shanghai, CHINA on Friday, December 24, 2021, PAKISTAN NAVY Media Wing Head DGPR NAVY Rear Admiral Naeem Sarwar said in an official statement.
“The Launching ceremony of the 4th ship of Type-054 A/P Class Frigate constructed PAKISTAN NAVY was held at the Hudong Zhonghua (HZ) Shipyard, Shanghai, CHINA,” DGPR NAVY said.
According to the details, the 4th and final hi-tech and advanced Stealth Type 054 A/P Warship, being constructed for the PAKISTAN NAVY, held at the Hudong Zhonghua (HZ) Shipyard in Shanghai, CHINA.
PAKISTAN has inked a multi-billion dollars contract with its Iron Brother CHINA for the procurement of four numbers of State of the art and Hi-Tech Type 054 A/P Class Stealth Warship.
According to the contract, PAKISTAN Iron Brother CHINA would construct all the four Types 054 A/AP Class Stealth Warship for PAKISTAN and PAKISTAN will also able to construct more Warships after Transfer of Technology (ToT) From CHINA.
This Stealth Warship is one of the four Stealth Warship that are being constructed in CHINA. One such Stealth Warship named as PNS TUGHRIL has also been commissioned by PAKISTAN NAVY and it has also reached PAKISTAN.
The Type 054 A/P Stealth Warships are considered as the one of the most technologically advanced Surface Combatants in the Combatant fleet of PAKISTAN NAVY.
The PAKISTAN NAVY Type 054 A/P Stealth Warships are equipped with the latest sensors, radars, electronics suite and other gadgetry.
“Type-054 A/P Frigates will be one of the most technologically advanced surface platforms of PAKISTAN NAVY Fleet, fitted with latest surface, subsurface, anti-air weapon systems, Combat Management System and Sensors,” DGPR NAVY said.
As far as the weaponry of the PAKISTAN NAVY 4th Type 054 A/P Class Stealth Warship is concerned; the Type 054 A/P Stealth Warship of PAKISTAN NAVY armed with the latest, state of the art and hi-tech Surface, Subsurface and Anti-Air Weapons and Combat Management System.
“The induction of these ships will enhance PAKISTAN NAVY’s Fleet’s war fighting capabilities, contribute in maintaining peace, stability and power equilibrium in the Indian Ocean Region,” DGPR NAVY continued.

The induction of these Modern and Stealth Warship will significantly boost the War Fighting Capability of PAKISTAN NAVY. It will also help to maintain the power equilibrium in the indian Ocean Region and to contribute the regional peace and stability.
While addressing the ceremony, the Chief Naval Overseer Commodore Rashid Mehmood Sheikh highly appreciated the support provided by the CHINA’s PEOPLE’S LIBERATION ARMY (NAVY) PLAN, CHINA Shipbuilding Trading Company (CSTC) and Hudong Zhonghua (HZ) Shipyard for the timely construction of this cutting-edge Stealth Warship despite the challenge of Covid-19 pandemic.
