PAKISTAN TURKEY Joint Special Forces Drills “ATATURK-XI 2021” Successfully Concludes At SSG HQ Tarbela:
The ATATURK-XI 2021 Joint Drills conducted between the Special Operation Forces of both Iron Brothers, PAKISTAN and TURKEY, successfully concludes at the Headquarters of Special Services Group (SSG) At Tarbela, PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head DGISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said in an official statement on the official microblogging account.
The Inspector General Training And Evaluation (IGT&E) Lieutenant General Syed Muhammad Adnan graced the ATATURK-XI 2021 concluding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
A high level Military Delegation from TURKEY Headed and Commanded by the Major General Emre Tayanc also presented on the occasion.
According to the details released by the PAKISTAN ARMY Media Wing Head Inter-Services Public Relations or ISPR, the Special Operation Forces of PAKISTAN ARMY Special Services Group (SSG) and TURKISH Special Forces participated in the 3-week long ATATURK-IX 2021 Joint Exercise.
The 3-weeks long Joint Special Forces Exercise ATATURK-XI 2021 specially focused on:
- Counter Terrorism Operations, including Advanced Search and Cordon Techniques
- Free Fall by Para Troopers
- Hostage Rescue
- Martial Arts
- Built-up Area Clearance with Combat Aviation Support
“Three weeks long exercise focused on Counter Terrorism operations, including Cordon and Search techniques, Built-up Area clearance drills with Combat Aviation support, Hostage Rescue. Free Fall by Para Troopers and Martial arts were also practiced during the training,” DGISPR said.
Both iron Brothers, TURKEY and PAKISTAN, have always enjoyed decades long close cooperation in all domains, including defense. The recent rapid geopolitical and geographical changes brought the Two Iron Brother Countries further closer with each other.
The ATATURK Joint Drills has been held annually between the Special Operation Forces of PAKISTAN and TURKEY since 1998, alternatively in TURKEY and PAKISTAN.

This Exercise termed as the JINNAH Exercise, the Founder of SACRED PAKISTAN, in TURKEY, While in PAKISTAN, this Exercise termed as ATATURK, the Founder of SACRED TURKEY.
TURKEY is an Iron Brother and ALL Weather Strategic Ally of PAKISTAN and both the countries shared decades long relationship and cooperation in Religion, culture, defense and other Domains of life.
